These terms apply to your use of JustShift, a team rota and scheduling service operated by Jabe Peake. Contact jabe@thepeakes.com with questions. By using JustShift, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our privacy policy.

Accounts and team responsibilities

Keep your account details accurate and your password secure. Use only accounts and teams you are authorised to access. Team administrators are responsible for appropriate membership, scheduling permissions and information they enter or distribute. Enter only information you are entitled to use and avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information.

Schedules and communications

JustShift supports scheduling; it does not replace your organisation’s responsibility to confirm staffing arrangements, working hours and changes. Check the rota and confirm urgent changes directly with your team. Email and calendar copies are snapshots or synchronised copies that can be delayed or incomplete.

Optional Google Calendar connection

You can authorise JustShift to create a My Shifts calendar and maintain eligible shift events. This is a one-way connection: edit your shifts in JustShift. Google service availability, permissions and calendar settings can affect synchronisation. Disconnecting stops updates; existing events remain unless you choose to remove them. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google’s terms.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, access someone else’s information without permission, distribute unlawful content, send unwanted communications, attempt to bypass security or disrupt other users. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or protect the service, and you can contact us to discuss a restriction.

Your information

You retain your rights in information you provide. You allow JustShift to process and transmit it as needed to provide the features you and your authorised team administrators use, including selected email delivery and calendar synchronisation. Data handling is described in the privacy policy.

Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care in operating JustShift, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every notification or sync will arrive immediately. Maintain appropriate checks and records for critical staffing decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Stopping use and changes

You can stop using JustShift and disconnect Google Calendar at any time. Contact us to request account deletion, and contact your team administrator about team records. We may update features and these terms; material changes will be communicated through the service or account contact details. The current version and date are published here.
